On last Monday evening Causeway U12's had a great win in the County league final played in Lerrig against Ardfert. Played in very warm conditions and with a strong breeze, Causeway started the game the better and playing with a strong breeze, they got the first score when Paul McGrath was fouled in the square and from the resulting free, Enda Halloran hit the back of the Ardfert net, Causeway led throughout the half and with the score at half time Causeway 4-06 Ardfert 1-03.

In the second half Ardfert started brightly and hit four unamswered points but then they had a player dismissed and Causeway got into their rhythm and with both Tommy Casey and Sean Leahy winning alot of ball at midfield and with the backs standing firm and repelling many an Ardfert attack they had on and with a flurry of scores late in the game ran out winners on a score of Causeway 5-11 Ardfert 3-06.
