CLUB PLAN LAUNCH: On last Sunday night in Causeway Comprehensive School, Causeway GAA Club launched their 5 year plan, with guest speaker Liam Sheedy officially launching the booklet and plan. It is a comprehensive document into which a lot of time and effort was input. It was the enthusiasm of Chairman Theo O Connor and the team he had put in place that made it such a good launch and night. Also present on the night were Willie O Connor, Munster Council, Ger Galvin, Tim Murphy Kerry County Board, Joe Walshe, Pat Dineen North Kerry Board, Eileen Clifford and Stephen O Sullivan Club Plan Facilitators. Liam Sheedy spoke of how it takes hard work to make anything possible and in the case of the local GAA, this is most definitely the case as it is the starting point for all young hurlers and it is the time that all underage trainers and club officials put in that pays off in the long term. The crowd that turned up on the night was outstanding and just showed that the club is still a strong central point in our community. The food that was prepared and served on the night was top class also and a big thank you to the ladies that made and provided food. Again well done to all involved. More pictures from the night will follow in the coming weeks.
