GAA Juvenile Results:
U14s are progressing well in the Lee Strand County League. They played Abbeydorney last Saturday winning on a scoreline of 6-13 to 3-2. The team was as follows: Stephen Murphy, Gary Carey, Jason Diggins, Dylan Burke, Darragh O'Connor, Billy Lyons, Sean Griffin, Jamie Barrett, Michael Lynch, Jamie McGrath, Paudie Halloran, Evan Murphy, Joseph Diggins, Kevin Burke, Brandon Barrett, Cormac Leen, Adam Guerin, Kevin Guerin, John Lane, Jamie Donegan.
GAA Senior Results:
The seniors played Kilmoyley last Sunday in the North Kerry Hurling League winning on a scoreline of 3-11 to 3-10. The team was as follows: Ciaran Canty, Paul O'Grady, Fergus Carroll, Eoin O'Grady, John Fitzgerald, Kenneth Leahy, Mark Murphy, Jason Leahy, Colm Harty, John Cantillon, Johnny Dillane, Shane Sheehan, Stephen Goggin, John Mike Dooley, Padraig Harty. Substitutes as follows - Adam White for Stephen Goggin, Richard Casey for John Cantillon and Barry Walsh for Johnny Dillane.
GAA Fixtures:
Lots of Club Fixtures coming up for the coming week - please support! Intermediates will play Abbeydorney in Causeway this Wednesday at 6.15pm. U14s will play Ballyduff in Causeway this Thursday at 6pm. U12s will play Abbeydorney away this Friday at 6.30pm. Seniors will play Ballyduff in Causeway next Sunday at 12. Minors will play Abbeydorney away at 11am next Sunday (may be postponed due to school match).U16s will play Kilmoyley away next Tuesday at 7pm.
GAA and Code of Ethics:
A Code of Ethics course will take place for two nights in the Clubrooms on 6th and 8th April at 7.30pm. This is run by the County Board. Club Mentors and Officers must attend.
Causeway Comprehensive School:
Causeway GAA Club wishes the Comprehensive School the best of luck in the Vocational Schools Senior 'A' All Ireland Final. Match will be played in Semple Stadium at 12.45 on Saturday.

GAA Juvenile Results:
The U14s played in the Lee Strand County League against Dingle winning on a scoreline of 4-6 to 0-6. The team was as follows: Stephen Murphy, Jamie Barrett, Joseph Diggins, Kevin Burke, Paudie Halloran, Alan Carey, Jason Diggins, Dylan Burke, Billy Lyons, Darragh O'Connor, Brandon Barrett, Jamie McGrath, Kieran Barrett, Michael Lynch, Sean Griffin, Kevin Guerin, Evan Murphy, Gary Carey, Cormac Leen, Adam Guerin, Jamie Donegan, John Lane, Paudie Barrett. The U15s also played and lost the final of the William Sweeney Cup against a very strong Ardfert side on Sunday.
GAA Minor Results:
Minors played their first match in the North Kerry Championship winning against Lixnaw/Crotta last weekend on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-11. The team was Muiris Delaney, Enda O'Halloran, David Leen, Sean Leahy, John Joe O'Connor, Bryan Murphy, Seamus Breen, Anthony Fealy, Richard Casey, Darren Leahy, Ricky Keane, Padraig Murray, Paul McGrath, Tommy Barrett, Tommy Casey. Subs - David Breen, Patrick Dineen, Kevin Diggin, Danny O'Shea.
GAA Senior Results:
The seniors had their first outing last Saturday in the North Kerry Hurling League against Ardfert. They won on a scoreline of 3-13 to 3-9.
GAA Fixtures:
Seniors will play Kilmoyley at 2pm next Sunday in Round 2 of North Kerry Senior League. U16s will play Ardfert on Tuesday 30th in Causeway. U14s will play Abbeydorney at 6pm in Abbeydorney on Saturday next.Minors are due out this weekend but may be postponed due to School final.
Congratulations:
GAA Club once again congratulates the Causeway School seniors on their win last weekend against a very strong and physical Athenry side in the All Ireland semi final. From the start this match was edge of the seat stuff with plenty of strong displays by the school boys from Causeway who were down by six points at half time. They really showed grit, determination and character in the last 15 minutes of the game pushing Athenry to a draw and scoring the winning point in the last minute. Well done to all involved and the club wishes them good luck in the final which will be played on 3rd April - time and venue will be in next weeks notes.

Congratulations:
Causeway GAA Club congratulates the Comprehensive School team on their Munster final win against Dromcollogher last weekend in the senior competition. The All Ireland Semi Final will take place against Banagher next Saturday. No venue decided yet. Congratulations to our own Club boys who were part of the team. The club boys were Anthony Fealy, Bryan Murphy, Muiris Delaney, Tommy Barrett, Paul McGrath. Good Luck to all in All Ireland semi final.

GAA Presentation Juvenile Night
GAA Presentation Juvenile Night was held last Friday night. A large crowd attended. It was an enjoyable night thanks to the kind hospitality received from Ballyroe Heights Hotel. All juveniles were delighted to receive their medals for 2009. Hopefully 2010 will prove to be as successful with silverware.
U16 All Ireland Final:
GAA Club congratulates the Comprehensive School team on their massive All Ireland win against Loughrea last weekend in the U16 competition. This is the second year in a row for the school to win this All Ireland title. It is a huge boost for the future of hurling in Kerry. Well done to their trainer Maurice Leahy and to Willie Dowling and John Joe Delaney who mentored the team throughout the competition and to Maurice Fitzgerald for his First Aid expertise. Well done to the team and all involved along the way. Congratulations to our own Club boys who were part of the team and to Muiris Delaney who was captain. The club boys were Muiris Delaney (capt), Tommy Barrett, Paul McGrath, Darren Leahy, Sean Leahy and Keith Carmody. Well done to all involved in such a great achievement.

SCÓR WINNER

Congratulations and well done to Brian Murphy, Ballinglanna who won the Scór All Ireland Recitation Competition last weekend in Athlone. This is a brilliant achievement for Brian who is well known for his brilliant recitation, singing and musical ability, even though he is only 12 years old. A great future ahead for Brian. The GAA club is very proud to have an All Ireland Scór winner in their midst. Well Done Brian and Good luck in the future.

GAA Membership
Membership is now due for 2010. Fees can be paid to John Madden or any Club Officer or Coach. Players - €50. Members - €30. U18 to U15 - €15. U14 to U10 - €10. Please pay as soon as possible. All membership monies have to paid within next few weeks, remember if you are not a member you will not be eligible to enter draw for tickets to matches throughout the year.
