The Juniors played Abbeydorney in the NK Junior Final in Lerrig before a sizeable attendance on Saturday night. This was a good and exciting game of hurling to watch and with Causeway playing some good hurling they led 0-7 to 1-03 at the break, the Abbeydorney goal coming just before the interval. In the second half Causeway played very well agian and after about 15mins Alan Whyte connected with a long delivery from Mark Dillane and goaled for Causeway. With time almost up Causeway looked as if they were going to hold out for the win leading by two points but two late frees for Abbeydorney drew the game level and so both sides will have to meet again. Final score Causeway 1-09 Abbeydorney 1-09.
