The Quill Pen: Depicts the importance to the Community of the schools in Causeway, particulary the influence of Causeway Comprehensive School in the wider Claunmaurice Community. The Scales of Justice: Remind us that Petty Sessions and Court Assizes have been held in Causeway for Hundreds of years. The Tractor & Plough: Reflect the importance of Agriculture and Industry in the area. The Currach: Is a reminder of our nearness to the sea and particulary of Meenogahane. The Sandford Chalice & Celtic Cross: Shows the importance of Religion in the Life of the Community. The Silhouetted Hurlers & Footballers: Symbolise the G.A.A. which is very important to the cultural life of Causeway. |
